What can you expect at Cannon Dermatology?

  • As we value the time of all of our patients, we request that 24 hour notice be given for any cancellation of appointments

  • We do not double book appointment slots to maximize our time together.

  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete any paperwork. If you arrive late, you may cut into your appointment time. As this slot has already been reserved, you will still be charged for your full visit.

  • We offer convenient online scheduling in addition to scheduling by phone. If you require an appointment time not listed online, please call the office so we may try to accommodate your request.

  • All medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology office visits must be paid for at the time of service.

  • All new patients should schedule a Level II (3o minute appointment) for their initial visit.

  • Appointments include simple procedures as long as time allows such as skin tag removal, removal of benign lesions not requiring stitches, freezing warts or precancerous lesions

  • All new cosmetic patients require a consultation (20 minute visit).

  • Health savings (HSA) and flex spending accounts (FSA), cash, and credit/debit cards can be used to pay for non-cosmetic services.

  • Insurance can still be used for laboratory testing, biopsies and prescription medications ordered by Dr. Cannon.

  • We do not bill or participate with any insurance providers. Upon request, we are happy to provide you with a courtesy bill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is at the sole discretion of your insurance provider. All questions regarding your insurance coverage and reimbursement should be directed to your insurance company.

  • We do not provide reimbursement forms for patients with government insurance programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare as they do not reimburse for medical care performed by non-participating physicians.
